Default Power steering return line ?s

1) the local O'Rielly's only has PS return lines in short pieces. The local ACE hardware has a pretty long chunk of 3/8" fuel line in their automotive/implement section. Are they the same thing, or are there any substantial differences? Both hoses are reinforced rubber.

2) is brass OK to use in a PS return line? I need a "T" to join my Hydroboost and Jeep Box outlets, but I don't want to use a material that may corrode or otherwise react badly to PS fluid.

If you use fuel line make sure you use fuel injection fuel line. It's about as close as you can get to power steering fluid line.

The 'T' nipple I got with my braided lines was a brass barbed nipple. I believe they have them at Lowes in the plumbing section.

I wonder if NAPA has PS line in longer pieces.

I picked up one at ACE...just wanted to make sure it wasn't going to dissolve or something.
