did you wax it in the sun...before it was really dried?
did you use wax that puddles up into water droplets? if so next time use rain dance or mothers something that sheds water instead of pools it.
the only way that i know of is to wash your car with really harsh dishwasher soap (dawn is what the guys on here recomend) to get the wax off the dry it and let it sit until its not even moist. Then take it into the shade and wax.
I have read a little about clay barring a car to get the dirt, bugs, tar, and stubborn water stains off but dont have any expierence.
The guys on the car care section would be able to help more than I
hope this helps

get yourself some 3M hand glaze. works wonders.. its not a wax at all, so there is no silicone you have to worry about.. i reccomend getting that.

You shouldn't need to clay bar a new paint job yet. I agree with getting the wax off, let it dry,
and then inspect it for water spots. If it's OK, put some GOOD wax on it. I use Maguires, but thats just my
preference.

I use white vinegar from the grocery isle, cleans water spots and other gunk off the paint with little effort.

any wax with silicone or vinegar will damage the paint this early on, I'd use the hand glaze only because the paint is still curing and still breathing. so untill it fully hardens in like another 6 months, dont put a silicone based wax on or else the molecules will get trapped and then you'll get fish eyes.. but dont listen to me i just do this stuff for a living

Corvette 69... thank you for sharing you expertise, do you have any opinions on wether or not you should put a vette in the curing booth at a paint shop or just let it sit in the sun? How long should I wait after laying the primer before i put the color coat on
