Carpet Dye
I have some carpet for the trunk of a project I'm working on. It's currently gray but I want to dye it black. It's already cut to fit.
Anyone use dye with any sucess. Being it will be in the trunk it will be low traffic. Any recommended brands?

I've used black RIT...common at any grocery...for my black interior C2 carpet that was beginning to sun bleach. Works great, its easy and inexpensive, and it lasts. Get the liquid and apply with a small piece of sponge.

I was just thinking about this the other day. Bubba had replaced the carpet on the floor in front, but the carpet on the door panels is looking a little bleached, as well as in the back. I'll have to try this. :D

I successfully dyed my carpets from brown to black. Took a while to get a complete coverage. Many coats drying with a hair dryer in between. The end result was worth the effort.
