under dash brace

under dash brace

i installed a oem a/c in my 70. the right side dash brace interfers with the back of the air duct as it makes the 90* turn to connect to the lower dash pad. does anyone have pics of their braces?

If it's the 20" cross-brace pictured above, it can be removed and perhaps re-installed after the ducting is in place,..or am I oversimplifying the problem?

Any chance you have a picture of the drivers half of the car as well?
Sorry to hijack, but I've been needing dash assembly pic's of a non-A/C car.

thanks for the pic, but the heater box is different on the a/c car, and the brace doesn't seem to fit the same. maybe i've got something in the wrong place.
