I am worried about the lower fuel connector particularly as once I assemble the fuel rail and injectors, if this thing leaks I'm going to be SOL and have to dissassemble the thing in the midst of gas spraying all over.
I put a pipe fitting/-6 AN "L" into the fuel rail, then a short piece of braided -6 AN hose with a -6 AN hose fitting on either end. Anyone see any problems with this?
If everything is assembled correctly it should be bullet proof. Your ECU should have a short timed fuel system priming event when ignition is first switched on you can use to check for leaks, mine is around 5 seconds.
Where is your fuel supply line coming from, if from below as original, I would use at least a 45 degree fitting instead of a straight one on the supply hose.
Here's a though and since I cant see everything around your motor take ti with a grain of salt.
What I would do; plug fwd ends of fule rails and plumb the fittings into the rear of the rails. ring the flex lines up from the frame rail to the back of the motor. You'ld probably have a bit more room to work around the Dist. instead of having to deal with belts, T-stat and other stuff on the front of the motor.
After doing 1 FI car I learned alot of little things
