Ok so aside from the obvious screw from a kick pannel cutting a wire in the center console; what should I check?
I have heard:
* that one motor may be going bad causing a short.
* a switch could be shorting.
* the dreaded kick pannel screw. (I mean the threaded one)
I am hoping to find the issue without replacing motors, wiring and switches.
Anyone from Painless want to donate a complete harness?
all you need to know to isolate it is when does the fuse blow? With the key on? drivers button pressed up or down? passenger button pressed up or down?
If it is with the key on, there is a problem between the fuse panel and the switch. If its when a button is pressed it will be in that branch
Do you have a slow operating window? Could be as minor as just having to clean and lube the complete window mechanism. A jamming mechanism will overload the motor and blow the fuse!
