Default Carburetor erosion

I have a Holley 750 Carburetor on my small block engine. The car has been running poorly, so the carburetor was taken off for rebuilding. All of the internal anodized surfaces are being eaten away, apparently by the fuel. The carburetor is only about 2 years old. It looks like the metal surfaces on a boat that has been allowed to deteriorate.

What can be done for this?

Do a Google on the problem or call Holley tech. Holley had some issues with something like sublimation of the zinc affecting their carbs a few years ago. They were replacing them no questions asked.

Seems like I remember a few members were having the same problem. The reason I recall is I had just put a new Holley on my car and was concerned about the same problem. So far all has been good.
