Vacuum advance...
Here is the story...
Changed my carb to a holley 670 street avenger and the ignition with a HEI. Everything is going smoth, and followed lars´s paper step by step.
Here is the problem...
I´m only running 5 Hg of vacuum from the manifold, and I want to run with full manifold vacuum, becourse of my VERY rough Idle.
Bought one of those adjustable vacuum cans, but it cant be adjustet lower, and the vacuum wont pick it up. Only when im crusing and going to park.. then it idles about 1500 and after a couple of minutes it will fall to the wanted 800.
So I need a vacuum can called VC 1862 AR 32 to see if that will help, but this is no where to find in DK. Where can a find a online store that whant to Ship and have this Vacuum can?
Another question. The Electric Choke on the Holley. How in the ... should this work?
I have it adjustet pretty good, but after 1 min or so, the engine just keeps climing the RPM´s. I usally go out and reset the Choke when it have reach about 3500 RPM´s, and after this the engine dies....
And it is not the idlescrew on the choke, it is almost not toughing.
Best regards Søren
