Flex Fan Size
Need to get my car back on the road which means brake system overhaul and I figure while I'm in there I may as well dress up the engine a little since it looks like it was on fire or something from previous owner. Grabbed a chrome water pump w/ pulley from a fellow forum-er, need some hoses and a new fan. Came with the upper half of a shroud wire tied in and a beat up solid metal fan.
Flex fans come in 17" and 18" diameters for the most part. Anyone have a recommendation for my '74?

I used the flex-a-lite 10,000 rpm stainless 17.5 inch for years with a standard 79 Vette shroud.
I tried the 18 inch and clearance was nill unless you shimmed the tranny rear up

I have a 17" flex. Make me an offer and its yours. I was going to use it then replaced my clutch fan instead. Just sitting in my pile of garage art. For the price of a case of 24 sam adams its yours.
