Default Question on Dewitts rad

I put a 540 BB in my 75. I am nervous about cooling. Anyone have any comments on the Dewitts aluminum 2 row radiator for the 75 (A73M)? Will it cool the BB if I add the SPAL fans? Will I need to replace the alternator with a 100 amp unit (or larger)?

All I know is I have never heard of any complaints, they seem to cool every engine possible to put in there.....

for my wimpy car, the Spals alone work fine....you stick that monster radiator in there, It could cool a RR diesel....

I upgraded my stock 43 amper to 80 amps running the dual spal setup. So far no problems. I do not have many other electronics. You need to add up all your electronics Lights, radio, fans, MSD box if you have it and so on then add a little extra to determine your amp needs.
The Dewitts rad. should cool your motor no problem.

I agree with these guys, just don't get the spall controller, it sux. Either go with Bosch relay setup of the PWC controller.
