That idle is too high for sure and like mentioned could be a couple of things. Check the CTS or just replace it with the newer two wire style which is much more reliable. The other also mentioned could be a vacuum leak which would be at the TB shafts, a very common issue with the CF motors. How many miles are on the car?
The IACs may be dirty as well. Don't dump cleaning fluid down inside the unit from the spring end. Just clean off the pintle carefully and the inside of the TB housing if gummed up. Press the pintle all the way in before installing. Once the car starts again, it will run a little rough until the ECM readjusts the IAC settings which will be about 5 miles or so and over 40mph. Do not over tighten the IAC, you will crack the housing if gorilla force is used.
OK,, back from vacation. Ordered a mr gasket 195 deg t-stat. I also have been checking catalogs and see no reference to a CTS. I do see an ECM temp sensor, is this the same? Where does this mount on the manifold so I can figure out what it looks like? I was incorrect about the start up rpms, they are lower than I thought, not 1800 more like 1200-1300, sorry bout that, I havent been using it much and have been probably drinking too many gin and tonics lol. However warm up time is still excessive IMHO. Will see what happens after the t-stat and sensor, whichever one it is.

check the upper rad. hose. it should be cold during warmup. many 'stats leak, slowing warmup.
usually the manifold is cut too deep. fill with wire/epoxy to fix. 1-2 mile warmup.
