engine and exhaust questions
im coming back home from iraq next month and im looking to put a new engine and exhaust system into my 71. Where are some recommendations on places to shop for turnkeys and what are your opinions on the hooker side exhause system offered from mamotorworks. im open for any suggestions on better also.

If the key is turnkey, then there is no question...go crate motor.
Depending on your budget, I say run with a top end GM crate 350 or 383 kit. Add to that a built TH200R4 or five speed manual, and Hooker side mount headers and side pipes.
I have had Hookers on two of my Vettes and I love them.

Definitely hooker side pipes. I love mine and I'm sure everyone on the forum who has them will say so as well.
