I built two 90* angle brackets for the bottom that attached to the stock lower fan shroud holes in the core support, and screwed into the shroud. For the upper mounts I used two pieces of flat stock, one for each side, and drilled a hole in each one at one end. I just bolted these to the factory upper bolt holes for the fan shroud. I hope this is some help.

The Crown Vic fan looks much larger then the Mark VIII, but it gives me some ideas. Thanks DR.Jay
Anyone else want to share how they mounted their Mark VIII fan?
I'm using a Northern radiator, which has U-channels at the top and bottom - I used aluminum angle to make a bracket that slides into the top and bottom of the fan shroud. I can take pictures in a few days when I'm back home.
