Convertible Door guide receiver problem.

Convertible Door guide receiver problem.
These things are $84 a peice. Mine are fine structurally but the rubber that goes between the brass peice and the metal mount is gone. Has anyone had this problem and found a resolution? Is there some type of liquid rubber or something that I can inject in between the 2 peices to fix the problem?

You can find some thin rubber and make your own. Just carefully bend the tabs on the inner "shim" of the receiver and remove it. Find some thin rubber, like an inner-tube of a bike tire or something. Cut it out and weatherstrip adhesive it it the outer part. Trim it. Put the shim back in and go.
