Default frame deminsions

Earlier this month I noticed a topic realted to frame deminsions and was wandering if anyone could send a graphic of the frame and deminsions for a 79. After stripping paint, I found an old injury in the left front fender (bubba has been here!) and noticed that the front frame horns seemd to be bent about 1/2 hinch to the right along with a bent stabilizer bar. Additionally, I noticed that the lower right control 'A' arm is in a slightly different position than the left (about 1/2 in. farther back). I wanted to check deminsions for the rest of the frame to make sure there are no other problems. I would like to thank anyone for their help in advance and say that this forum has been exteremely helpful and is very enjoyable.

I don't know for sure what years this is for, but I think the basics measurements are the same since the frames are all the same except for some minor details in the rear section.

I just looked the print over and it is for an earlier c3 or c2. The section from the kickup in the back to the rear is is what will differ from yours. The measurements will work for you though. The reason for the differences are to accomodate the different mounting of the rear differential. There are a couple of other VERY minor details that differ between the two frames that aren't even worth mentioning. This drawing should be of some help to you. Good luck.

Actually, somebody on the forum sent me that a couple of years ago. I don't remember who anymore though. Is it out of the AIM? I guess I don't know for sure where it came from, but it sure has been helpful for me. Whoever sent me that...... thanks again.

I recognise it from a book called "How To Restore And Modify Your Corvette 1968-82" by a fellow named Richard Newton.

Thanks to everyone for the help and especially the figure. One question. The one deminsion that I really need is not clear in the figure. The width deminsion for the front frame horns. Is it 32 and 13/16 or 33 and 13/16. If it is 32, I am perfect if it is 33, I am one inch out. Maybe someone has better eyes than me. Thanks.
