Okay, it's been a long time but I finally got video and sound of my stroker. It is a low budget 383 assembley with the summit 1105 cam. Holley SA 770 (probably over kill) Camel humps heads, Dynomax headers, 2.5" duals with cherry turbo mufflers. The car really rips with this motor.

Next goal is the dyno.

If the carb isn't loading up at idle it should be ok. Nice work!

Hey Bernie how goes it?

I've been real busy and haven't had the time to lurk around here. I don't have any problems at idle, in fact it was a little rich and after a lot of tinkering I got that corrected by bumping the timing to 34 total and mixing in some turbo blue racing fuel. The CR is 10.9:1 and was hearing a little detination so trying to lower the timing stop the ping but seemed to smell. 3 gallons with a full tank of 92, makes for an expensive fill up but worth every penny.

When you say "low budget", how much exactly is a low budget 383, and where did you buy it???

Chris,
I'm doing good! Driving the 92 as much as I can and loving every minute of it! You could go to a smaller carb; I have a friend that has a very healthy motor in his and a smaller cab actually helped his.
