Help!!!!
Ok here is the deal. I put a ZZ4 with Kiesler 5spd in my 72 vette. It was an origonal 350 4spd car. After the initial starting and break in run I set about the task of fine tuning. I was having problmes with wandering timing and removed the hEI distributor that came with the zz4 and put the mallory unilite tach drive back in. I found a vac leak and once that was fixed I set rpms to 800 and adjusted the timing to 10 btdc. With timing set i then hooked up a vacumum gage and adjusted the mixture screws for max vacuum. Now when I turn the key off it wants to run on. what give I need so help!! I read the sticky on timing and it didn't help. This is killing me not to have my car tuned and running after all I have invested. Please HELP!!!
Remember the first "Law of Lars"..."90% of all problems with running condition are ignition related" so you must grasp the concept of timing.
