Default A few mods added...

Doesnt drive like its 28 years old!

Just wanted to share a few things I've done to my '79,some awhile back and some very new... 1979 C3 Corvette *
-* (factory options, see below)


List of modifications:-
Vette Brakes & Products.
-Stainless steel ‘O’-ring calipers
-Dual-mount composite monospring kits, front & rear( lowered Vette 1.5 inches)
-Tubular upper & lower A-arms - Stainless O-ring style calipers
-Smart Struts
-HD tie rods
-Spreader Bar
- Spicer HD U-joints
Madvet 2-tone leather seats,& console panels,-door sills
Energy Suspension-Hyperflex poly bushings
Dynomax Ceramacoat headers into 2.5" dual exhaust with H crossover
Flowmaster 40 series mufflers,
Holley 650, electric choke, zinc finish
Weiand Action+ aluminum dual plane manifold
Powermaster polished stainless 100A alternator w/ polished billet pulley & fan
K&N filter 14 x 3 air cleaner housing
MSD optimized HEI ignition
American Racing Torq Thrust II 17 x 8" wheels, 4" BS
Kumho 245-45-17" rubber
Polished aluminum, flamed, tall valve covers
Hawk HPS brake pads
Bowtie Overdrives, Level 2, TH200-R4 OD tranny
3.55 rear end
Dewitt aluminum radiator/dual electric fan conversion
Chromed Amerex halotron fire extinguisher, floor mounted, pass. side
‘Red walnut’ center console trim
Lloyds black carpet cargo mat w/ embroidered C3 flags logo
Pioneer rear 6 x 9's in custom form-fitting fiberglass enclosures
Sony Xplod 10" subwoofer in custom made enclosure, w/ ‘Stingray’ emblem & emb.flags-logo
Pioneer CD/MP3/WMA with AM/FM tuner w/remote & sub control .......... Lloyds blk.carpeted floor mats w/emb.C3 flags logo and bordered in red trim
Ultimate Pedals aluminum brake & accelerator pedals,resized for my sz.13's
Flamed shift ****,minus detent button
American Custom Industries Vented Hi-Rise Hood
(*) air conditioning,- tilt/tele steering wheel
-rear defogger -sport mirrors -cruise control ,-auto trans ,glass roof panels --P.S. Also added Astrotop,& flamed windshield "C3RVETTE" graphic

The sub is out of the car for now,I need to disassemble some to really seal it well.....but I think I have pics,or I can take more.I never took the time to learn how to post them here,so if I cant provide a link maybe I could email pics to someone knowledgeble?

Oh, just to warn you, Putfile is off limits here. The moderators will delete links to Putfile. I guess there is direct access to adult content from that site so linking even your page could lead to adult material.

Photobucket is one of the preferred methods plus they make posting images very easy with their thumbnail address feature.

Huh! I didnt know that,but all I've ever used it for is storage...never looked at anything else. I'm trying to acess my account at Photobucket,which I've never used for a couple years.Forgot my log-in info.Never really put any pics there. Sure hate to lose the ones at putfile. I'll be back....

Hers the sub pic. (3/4" MDF sub box w/Sony Xplod 10")
-I wanted to make it larger,but there are fiberglass enclosed 6x9's on each side and I wanted the 79's cargo curtain to pull over it.

I got the 'Stingray' for around $10 off Ebay.Brand new! I think Ecklers has them for around $35? The flags is an embroidery patch
