Default Electrical problems, headlights and turn signals dont work

We recently installed a new wiring harness for the front end, i hooked everything up, and at first when we put it in about three weeks ago the headlights worked and only one of the far lights worked, it wasnt a top priority at the time so we just left it alone, now im trying to get the headlights to work, and after three weeks of sitting for some reason only one of the far lights worked, the regular headlights didnt work at all, but the parking lights worked, after a couple of more tries the one far light went out as well, whats going on? did i blow a fuse? and if so which of the fuses is the one for the headlights?

We recently also did a minor rebuild on the steering column and replaced the signal assembly, at first only the right turn signal worked prefectly okay, the left signal would just make rapid clicking sounds and the parking light would flash, so i though it mightve been a faulty bulb in the rear, after replacing it (it was pretty messed up) both turn signals just made rapid clicking noises and didnt work.

The front wiring harness is brand new, with all the bulbs put in and hooked up correctly, the rear license plate light is out though could this cause a break in the circuit or something?

I have little experience with working with electrics on this car, since most of what I have been doing has dealt with suspension, brakes, and engines, so any help is appreciated.

Also, is the wire that hooks up to the thermostat supposed to be green?

Thanks in advance

Just noticed that when I press on the brake the left turn signal indicator inside the car remains lit.

[QUOTE=killervette6666;1561455746]im trying to get the headlights to work, and after three weeks of sitting for some reason only one of the far lights worked, the regular headlights didnt work at all, but the parking lights worked, after a couple of more tries the one far light went out as well.

I would get a test light and check for voltage in the car at the firewall connector. You said you changed the front harness but make sure the connections at the firewall are clean. This should get you parking lights and headlights.

This could be the firewall connection or something is not right in the steering column

Trace for power at parking light switch I think it is a brown wire 16 gauge and work yuor way back to the licence light make sure socket is good
