Need Help Electrical
A fellow member of the CF group has a 69 that when he turns on the head lights the engine quits ( loss of power)
note when the car was jacked up the power came back and the car started.
all suggestions welcome. will be working on car next week.
But what does the light switch have to do with the run circuit......?

The 12 gauge purple wire on the starter runs through the bulk head connector and to the ignition switch mounted on the steering column.
The 12 gauge red wire on the headlamp switch also runs to the ignition switch.
The cause may be a loose bulk head connector, but I’d take a hard look at the ignition switch and the wires that run to it.
