I just got around to inspecting the AC Plenum valves and noticed that the hose between the vacuum cansitser and the bracket is split.
The actuators are available from a variety of sources, but I'm having trouble finding these particaular vacuum hoses with the factory style connectors on the end.
Have you tried regular vacuum hose that you can pick up at any auto parts store. That should work as there is nothing special here. Take the old piece with you to get the correct size.

Yes - this is my "Plan B".
My only concern was with the plenum moving back and forth as the AC is actuated. I thought there may be a chance of the hose loosening over time. (The factory ends provide a solid connection).
If this hose comes off, I'm not sure that it can be readily accessed.
(My nose is off the car at the moment, so I can get at all the parts around the firewall and cowl very easily)
If you get a piece that fits very tightly, I doubt that it will come off. If it bothers you, add a little glue to the connection. BTW, that area is easily accessible by removing the kick panel
i spliced the small diameter a/c vacuum hose by inserting it into a regular size hose and using weather strip adhesive as a sealant. that could give you enough slack to fasten it to the glass in order to hold it in place.

Thanks! - I didn't realize I could get at this through the kick panel. That certainly takes the pressure off.
i bought some new vacuum hoses for under the dash, but didn't include that one if i remember correctly. however, some of the ones that i did get had "special" end connections from the factory while the replacements were straight hose with a small spring clamp. it would have been nice to know this before, like in the advertisement, but it was functional.
like others said, get a standard hose with a hose clamp (couldn't find pic, but is the type that you remove and install with pliers).
not positive, but think this line would be a little too large in diameter.
however, the cheapest functional solution will look exactly like that . . . maybe they have it in a smaller size?

I'll check it out. If they don't have it, I'll implement something similar.
