Okay guys, you nailed it. I got home and crawled under the car to find that the hard line nipple had pulled out of the rubber tube. The end was cracked so it wouldn't stay on properly when I tried re-installing it.
I cut a small length from some spare hose I had and got my little problem solved in minutes.
I took her out for another drive and it shifted just fine through all three screaming gears.
On to the next issue...
