Fuel pressure issue?

Fuel pressure issue?
Just notice last evening while engine was idling in garage the fuel pressure guage was pulsing very rapidly between 3 and 9 psi. Reved engine and still rapid pulsing. Last time I checked it was rock solid at 9psi. Engine seemed to be running fine would'nt even notice anything if guage was not installed. Bad guage or failing fuel pump? Anyone experience this issue?

Actually I tossed mine because it was leaking. Like yours, mine pulsed so bad that it was really difficult to figure what the pressure was when first starting, after a few minutes it settled in at about 6 pounds. I didn't replace it because there were no fuel issues.
