Default engine id numbers

Hello..found these numbers on the front of my right valve cover..(passenger side)..what do these mean?..thanks,Pete

Welcome to the Forum.

I believe V=Flint engine, 04 Month=April, 19 Day=19th, XB is Engine Suffix

"XB" Engine Suffix would indicate a 1969, 350 ci, manual transmission, 255 HP, 4BBL carb, used in C20 to 35 (pickup).


Seems that way to me, someone actually knowledgeable will chime in.
