Default Need to thank Lars (again)

I drove my 78 to work again today and I am just amazed at the difference since Lars rebuilt my carb and helped me adjust my timing.

Before, every time I floored the gas, it would bog and/or misfire and almost stall.

I must have floored it 20 times from a dead stop and on the fly today and not a single sputter or bog. It takes off (like it is supposed to)!

I feel like I ripped Lars off by only paying him $25! Thanks again Lars!!!

I still want my money back from those fools who "rebuilt" my carb the first time.

Great to hear that it's working right for you!! I have a Forum member carb coming back to me tomorrow for some "re-tweaking" after I missed the setup by a bit.... Every once in a seldom while I get one that doesn't hit the mark, but I'm sure glad yours is doing what it's supposed to do finally. Hope you enjoy it!!

I sure am enjoying it. It is very nice to be driving it again after it being apart for one thing or another. I am getting new t-tops this week and trying to fix some water leaks. It feels good to be nearing "completion". The cam change and carb rebuild really made it a different car.

Lars is 'da Man!

Lars, I've had a bit of trouble with my brakes lately. Hopefully will be fixed soon. I was hoping to have sent you my Quadrajet by now. I'll be in touch.

Regards, mark :chevy

Yep. Lars is, indeed, da man. If anyone on the Forum (and a few have) ever get to Colorado, you must check in with him. :yesnod: As a member of the "LarsGarageBums", I can vouch for the fact that he is "that" and much more in person. :D One very  dude!

Here's the Prof disecting the BG Speed Demon carb that recently went on my BB....gotta know what it is made of and how its made before using it...right??!! :yesnod: :yesnod:

Heh heh, Like I said, the corvette family is a brotherhood of 72 vettes with Silver paint, orange engines, with deamon carbs. Isn't that what makes it so special?
