recommend heads?
Hello.
I'm looking for a recommendation on a set of heads for this engine.
1976 vette w/355 approx 9.5 -1 compression
auto with stock stall
3.36 rear gears
cam: 218 224 .462 .477 112
full length headers w/dual exhaust
dual plane intake
qjet carb
no emissions
I'm looking for a set with straight plugs, various combustion chamber volumes (to set up compression), under $1000, under 200cc intake volume (for port velocity).
I can't use vortecs.
I was thinking of dart iron eagle 180cc, but they seem a little soft on the intake flow.
Any thoughts on these heads? Any other recommendations?
