DIY 6-link ?
- dragvette : doesn't improve the toe problem in the rear. It only replaces the half shaft as a suspension member.
- guldstrand : although this system is good, it doen't do away with the half shaft as a suspension member plus it is very very expensive.
I would think it would be possible to build a 6-link comparable to the guldstrand (but with an upper arm) yourself.
Does anyone have dimensions of the struts, positioning of the joints and construction of the hub (which replaces the trailing arm) ?
Probably a small change I would get some answers, but I thought what the heck.
Thanks
with the fully adjustable strut rods, you can fully adjust your camber gain/loss, wheel position, toe is stock C4, you got your strong enough hubs that can handle a 500 hp ZR1 say....
I'm gonna make some changes and run it this Saturday again...
I've studied the video of my auto cross escapade and I no issues with the rear end handling... The front is another story... APP
But you could build a c4 style setup... Call TT he may have the one he built laying in his scrap pile....
