my lights all work headlights bright and dim. my flashers all work.my tail lights and brake lights all work.
My turn signals are not working. I replaced the turn signal switch but they still dont work. Again the flashers work fine. What could be the problem? Any help would be apreciated. Thanks, Jon
There is a turn signal flasher can on the passanger side under the dash. See if yours is there, if so replace it. Mine was missing for 10 years before I found the problem. Haz. worked fine, but had no blinkers until i ran it down with a wiring diagram.
The emergency flasher and the turn signals use different "flasher" modules. The E-flasher unit is plugged into the fuse block; the turn signal flasher is clipped behind the lower right side dash panel. Replace the dash panel flasher and you will probably get them working again. (You can reach up behind the passenger dash panel and remove/replace it.)
The lights don't come on at all when I turn on the turn signals. Could it still be the flasher? I will change it tomorrow anyway just to see. I bet it is not to expensive of a part. I will try that and give an update.
Thanks for the help.
On one side, mine did not come on at all. I replaced the flasher unit. the rear one started working, the front one did not. To fix the front one, I had to take apart the connectors that hold the front blinker assembly and clean those connectors up.
I now have blinkers. Not auto canceling blinkers.... but thats a later day
Oh, and the flasher unit is only a couple bucks.

Yes it still can be the flasher. If the flasher is "open" the lights wont come on.Not sure what year but is your directional backup light fuse good?If you have a test light make sure the flasher has 12 volts with the key on.
