Default Rear window storage tray

I recently found a rear window storage tray for my 70 coupe, but the guy I got it from did not have any of the mounting hardware.

Where can I get the clips and brackets to install this tray? Most of the resto catalogs I have only sell the door latch for the tray and not the clips, screws, ect.

Any help?

(Already tried Mid America, Corvette America, Corvette Central, Ecklers & Zip)

A couple other places worth checking, just in case... Paragon, Dynamic Corvettes, Vette Specialties...

Oh, and some shops don't catalog everything they have available, so call around if you keep striking out. Good luck.

Excluding the storage door latch, those two items are the only components I carry for that tray. And to the best of my knowledge those are the only ones available new. Maybe JT Piper has something lying around for you 800.637.6111

Try Brads Corvettes in Ft Lauderdale. He has lots of little stuff. Might also try Corvette Mack near Atlanta.

Just to follow up on some of these posts.

I e-mailed Paragon and they said they did not stock the screws and mounting brackets.

Brad's Corvettes said they used to have this "Junk but scrapped it to make room for their C5 inventory."

I'm still trying to find Corvette Mack's web page.

Thanks for the leads. I appreciate the help.

I am in the same boat as you. There is a post on here that shows some really good pics of the mounting points and someone even had some measurements posted.

Unless you find a donor car or someone that knows to remove these from a parted out car, you may not find them. I have not seen them on e-bay or any of the parts swap meets in the last month.

I'm looking to possible make the hinges and mount them using well nuts.

You must have caught him on a bad day. He has a lot of C3 small parts squirrelled away. Sorry it didn't work out.

Are you sure yours are missing? These are not easy to get to and removing the tray would only require removing the pivot bolts. Oddly, my driver’s side is screwed on and the passenger side is riveted on. The tray side has the bracket riveted on.

If you know someone who has the correct hardware on his/hers, see if they would remove it and let you make tracings/photos. This is simple hardware and you could easily re-construct it.

I couldn't believe it myself when I read it, but there it was in black and white.

Oh there gone alright. I pulled back the carpet to see where the tray would attach and all that was there were the holes that the screws or rivets went into.

Great picts.

Anyone have a 72 that can take a picture of the striker for the tray latch? I'm trying to see how best to make something to allow the push button lock to latch.

Thanks
