I know its not an orginal engine. The block is a 3963518 MG which tells me the block is a 430 horse (CE). It has a 390 intake on it. Holly 850 with tranistor ignition.
The car has a 6000 redline, a fuel return line and a faded hood sticker (white infront of driver windshield) that reflect a 390 or 400 horse a/c car. All conflict.
Can someone once again share what I need to look for to see if its an orginal BB?
Also, the 3963518 MG sounds farily rare. Any comments on that observation?
A fuel pump return line would reflect a hydraulic cam car and concurrent with both AC and the 6K red line. Evidence of the existance a 390 HP 427.
Please correct me if I'm wrong but did the 390hp not have a 5600rpm redline?
I was also under the understanding a 5600rpm redline with no return line would indicate the 400hp 3x2 car?

You're right, the 390hp had a 5600 redline. Don't know the others.
