I just checked the p/n for my Mahle 4.125" X 4" stroke pistons. Think they just came out last spring. Mahle sbc 000125120. They were $601 from the local engine builder, probably had a bit of a mark up. Rings and pins included.

Mahle aftermarket has 2 lines of forged performance pistons ... 4032 for sportsman ... and 2618 for pro race. JE owned/operated by Dover Corp (NYSE DOV) ... as are Wiseco, Carrillo, Rotary Lift, Warn Winch & MANY others. CP race pistons lite & pretty darn good but I've seen em crack where JE don't.
-edit- afaik ... Mahle PowerPak piston-ring kits are sportsman-grade of 4032. afaik 2618 is low/no silicone hi-expansion.

I checked a couple sites and one says they were 4032 and another says they are 2618. Both Mahle Powerpak so apparently the people selling them don't know for sure. Thanks for the heads up guys.
