OK. here is what I have:

408 small block
10.3 compression
fuel injected with Holley stealth ram intake
Dart Pro1 angle plug heads, 69cc, 215cc intake runners, 2.055 intake valves, 1.6 exhaust valves
1.6 roller rockers
Hooker super comp headers with 2.5" duals
auto transmission
3.55 gears

The cam I have now is a hdraulic roller:
engineworks 135306HR
duration @.050 230/230
advertised duration 306/306
lift .480/.480
lobe centers 106/110
lobe spread 108

This combo is making peak hp at 5400 RPM. Several have told me that this engine needed a cam with more lift but that was with the carb. The question now is what cam for this engine with a FI setup? Also, some have recommended a solid roller since this is a Sat night car and not a daily commuter. What do you guys think?????

5400 rpm won't cut it for power, go up on duration some, Chevys
327/350hp cam made power to 5600 with 222/222 .050 duration
you have not far off from 100 more cubes 230/230 is not enough
for a 408 size engine. go up to al least 236 .050 intake duration
so you can get it to make power in the 2500 to 6000 range.

SOLID YES!
see gkull's posts
and ask JIM 427Hotrod to help pick a cam
i agree with L Mouse, if u bother to get EFI get a bigger cam, since EFI can make it work better than a carb
.

Stall speed is 3200. I have bought a Fuddle converter but have not installed it yet.
