Tranny types?
I've seen some vettes that are for sale listing their cars as "350trans" "400trans" or.. a "turbo 400" tranmission. What type of tranmissions are those? Automatics or stick?

The Turbo 400 is the heavy duty 3 speed automatic that was used in a lot of Corvettes. The Turbo 350 is the standard duty 3 speed automatic. The 350 is by no means a weak trans just the 400 is a little more heavy duty.
