Door glass removal 69 c3
I am in the process of tearing down my 69 is there a sequece of operations to remove the door glass ? ( manual reg) as after I paint it I do not want to run the risk if damaging the paint work re installing it so I want to do my homework now .. Anyone ?

If you have a Chassis Service Manual, Shop Manual, and AIM, to refer to, getting the door glass out and back in is pretty straight forward. The danger is in scratching the glass while you're getting it out and back in. The difficult part of the job for me was adjusting the glass so it fits properly and doesn't leak more than a little.

Get the the AIM, and Chassis Service Manual and you will be ahead of the game. These are must have books for anyone doing their own work on their cars.
