Default seat removal question

Is it possible to remove the seats from the tracks without removing the tracks from the car? thanks...don

You should really take the time to fill out the info requested when you registered. It can help in situations like this. As for most C3'S, if not all, the tracks are bolted to the floor while the seats are bolted to the tracks. There is no way, short of cutting a hole in the flooring, to access the seat to track bolts with the seats in the car.

my 79 it is just four simple bolts per seat to remove with tracks - IMO it would be much harder to try to remove seat by itself and leave the tracks - like dropping the surrounding ground to 'jack up' your car - might be possible, but why? Maybe earlier C3 are a lot different?
