Default Need help with specific throttle and kickdown brackets

I hate to be such a blatant brain-picker, but here goes...

I'm trying to find out which brackets to use for the throttle and kickdown cables on my Edelbrock Performer RPM 7104 with a Holley Avenger 770 carb. I only have my stock brackets from the original 1980 engine and accessories. I've eliminated the emissions so I won't need any of those brackets.

Any help would save me some tech-line time. Thanks very much.

Re: cable brackets: Does anyone have a Holley carb with an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake with auto trans?

Default would this help you out?

Check jegs or summit either one, they also have brackets to hold throttle cable and kick down cable in place if that's what you need.

I've read that with a taller intake I'll need aftermarket brackets. Thank you for the web link.

I asked a similar question about a month ago and didn't get any responses. After trying a few different brackets, I went and bought a CSR from Jegs.

My setup is a bit different as I'm using a demon carb and vortec heads so the intake bolt pattern didn't allow me to use the edelbrock bracket that attaches to the intake. The also have different models available with the bracket for the AT kickdown. It's pricey, but it seemed to be my only option.

Thank you for your help. I'm suprised the response has been this low as well. I'll give Jegs a call too. I hopefully will be cranking up the engine this week and I've changed out so many things on the car it's been a little tricky. Thanks again.

Thanks firsttimer, That's another resource I didn't think of. I'll call them tomorrow as well.
