Off the top of my head Glenn, I think the water outlets on the rad will be wrong for a big block; I would check the Be Cool web site to see if it is compatable with both engine types. That being said, universal type rad hoses might get you past that.

Hi Bruce
just looking to see what is needed in case I decide to go big block. Small Block coming out this weekend. Getting ready to send it to the body shop end of the month. Going to paint it Atomic Orange.
I used the same 4 core Modine with dual flex a lites for BB and SB, the hoses are the same diameter.
I was actually talking about the position of the water outlets on the rad, not the size of the hoses; that being said, I just checked the Be Cool site, and there doesn't appear to be any different rads for SBC or BBC, so your rad should be fine Glenn.
Looking at possibility of installing a big block in place of my small block.
I was wondering if my B-Cool with dual spal fans would be able to cool a big block?
Also what other areas would I need to look at or replace to install the big block.
Thanks
Also contemplating a BB transplant.
I'm looking at a rather cheap 454 from an 80s truck.
New heads needed to let it breathe like a 'vette.
The big items needed are the Corvette-only accessory
bracket$ and pulley$.

I have heard the Big Block Serpentine setup off the 80's trucks will work in the vettes. Might be worth checking into.
