Default Spal Fan Installation

I really hate to keep bringing up questions about the fans but.............
I just received the dual 11" fans and got ready to install but have a few questions. I did receive from a member the
installation procedure but it is for the brackets for a BeCool radiator.
I have a 4 core brass/copper radiator and it looks to me like I may have to re-invent the wheel to make them work.
The fans will have to be shifted to the right of the radiator [if you are looking from the drivers seat] for clearance purposes.
Would anyone that has installed the fans on a 4 core have any pictures or could they advise how and what type
of brackets that they used. Also does the edge [plastic] of the fans sit right up against the radiator. I would think that
some type of stiffener would need to run across the top and bottom of the fans as the two fans are only fastened
together with pop rivets.
If anyone has made an installation such as this, I would sure like to have the information before I start trying to make
something work and with my luck probably screw something up.
Thanks in advance.

Default Re: Spal Fan Installation (Roy M)

I run a met 1 1/4" flat alum. piece across top and bottom of fans to stiffen it. My fans come with 12 little flat brackets and I bent and bolted these to the top and bottom rad supports. I'll see if I have pics.
