Default VANSTEEL brakes

what would happen if you used the light weight drag brakes on a daily driver?

you would warp the rotors. no venting to cool them from stop n go driving. drag brakes stop once then sit in the pits for an hour. l

I do have them for the street but I haven't tried them out yet so I didn't put them up on our site. We like to try parts out before we give the go ahead on it. The rotors are a 2 piece design and are drilled and slotted. I'll try to dig up a pic and post it here but I can't comment on how they will work. The drag kit is pretty sweet and can cut about 56 lbs off the front end. The street kit will have similar weight savings too.

Here is a pic of the street rotor. Downfall to this kit is that you have to use 1/2" studs.

The kit is expensive IMO. The kit alone is $815.00 and it's about a week turn around. We need your spindles to build it. If we supply spindles it's an extra $150 and I will need you old ones back. You will also have to use safety wire on the spindle nut. Cotter pins can not but used.

GrandsportC3 (Olivier) I believe gained 1/2 sec in the 1/4 mile and 2 tenths off the 60ft times.
