Carb or Dist prob??? please help..
I have a 77 350 l48 stock. with a Qjet. new plugs and wires,fuel filter.
I seem to still have a stumble or hickup.. When i hit it ,its like the car is getting either 1.no gas and almost dies, and i have to feather it to get speed. 2. getting too much gas and flooding?? 3. maybe my timming is off just a hair 4. or maybe the carb needs to be rebuilt......
Other than that the car runs great real strong.
Any ideas?? Was thinking i just need to have carn rebuilt by lars.

Before doing anything with the carb, make sure your timing is correctly set up with 36 degrees total timing, a correct vacuum advance control unit, and adequate intial timing with functional centrifugal advance. Once verified, if you still have a stumble, you either have a bad accel pump, a lean condition (multiple possible causes), or a loose secondary airvalve spring windup.
