Hi Folks, My windshield wiper door has stopped working. Can you tell me what activates the windshield wiper door after the windshield wiper switch is activated inside the car on the center dash board. The wiper switch is an electrical switch. There must be a connection somewhere on the vette that connects the wipers and the wiper door.
Thanks Roger for the Vacuum System diagram. This will be very helpfull. Would you be able to email me the other page that describes what the numbers are on the diagram. gordon.maclean1@sympatico.ca

Many thanks in advance......Gord
theres are several components
1. the wiper switch it self
2. the wiper solenoid (under dash mounted to bottel of tach) # 20
3. micro switch on firewall actuated by plunger on wper door
4. vacuum lines from instacke to check valve (#13) to to wiper solenoid behind tach (#20) to wiper overide switch (#21) under column from there through #19, #18,#17 to the wiper door actuator
does the overide work? is the vaccuum at the solenoisd connected?, other vacuum connections OK if so the solenoid and/ or switch may be suspect
