Default Window regulator problem

I understand that this is a pretty common problem. The gear on the window regulator is missing a few teeth. I ordered on of the "repair Kits) from Mid America Motorworks but the motor still doesn't catch all the teeth. I am pretty sure I got the repair section on in the correct place.

Anyhow I figured I would just buy a new regulator and looked around(about $180 from most vendors) and found them pretty cheap on Ebay($130 plus shipping) Has anyone gotten one of these? How is the fit and quality?

I noticed that Mid America also sells just the gear(not the repair section) has anyone replaced one of those? How much work was it?

Thanks for the great info

Randy

Did you check the drive gear teeth on the motor? They also wear and rust out. Willcox seems to be the most reasonable.
