Hello, finished my rebuild and I left off the ground strap that connects to the passenger side head. I've reattached it to the head now but where does the other end connect.
I can't find a stud or anything metal on the firewall? Does it go to the mounting bold on the wiper motor?
The only engine ground I know of is on the passengers side block to frame rail. There should be a threaded hole in the block forward a little of the starter. This ground cable is as large as what’s coming off the battery.

That is it, look at the passenger side engine mount frame boss. On the front side there is a hole for it to be mounted to. It mounts from underneith and inside the cavity, as I recall.
Thanks for the replies. I 'do' have the tround at the motor mount to the frame. Replaced it with a new one. Large gauge.
I have read on this forum about another ground (about the size of a pencil)....that goes from the passenger side 'head' to the firewall.
When I put my motor back. I had this pencil sized ground wire left over and trying to figure out where it goes. I know it is not the one that is on the bottom or the block.
The firewall is fiberglass so I can't see a stud to attach to.
Also, I'm still fighting getting my wipers to work.
There is a ground stud on the firewall on the evap box. It collects the grounds from the Head, Wiper Motor and the main harness and ties them together.
The stud itself is not grounded as it goes thru the fiberglass firewall. The factory setup has it connected to the valve cover bolt, but I find that connecting it to the back of the head is better.
