Default Info For 3 x 2 setup

Just had the 3 carbs rebuilt on the 427 and am looking for the best resource (book?) for the proper final set up. Motor runs but coughs and sputters.
Thanks
Rand

There really isn't much to set up, other than the air/fuel adjustment...gently turn in the two screws on the side of the metering block till they dead end, then back out 1.5 turns each. Get a vacuum gage and fine tune the adjustments where you get the highest vacuum reading on each side.

Adjust the float levels where the gas just starts to trickle out.

Use the #2 screw on the white cam and adjust the accelerator rod .015 clearance. You will have to play with the power valves, but start out with the 6.5 inch

Daaaah....forgot to mention, the accelerator rod clearance should be .015" when the accelerator is fully depressed...throttle blades fully open
