Default 81 tach conversion
Is it possible to convert 1981 corvette tachometer for use with MSD HEI (vac.advance) distributor ? I believe the 81 tach gets it's signal from the ECM .The ECM also controlled spart advance etc. I've deleted the ECM and all other performance robbing devices -back to basics. I guess I could just replace exisiting tach with mid 70's tach , but would rather convert .

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

81 tach signal comes off the distributor like everything else. So there is no conversion to do
