I went to test & tune Friday and the car pulled both front wheels about 2-4 inches on launch but immediately stumbled and then took off again. It has a 750 Speed Demon VS carb. The 60' was only in the 1.7-1.8 range because of the stumble. Any ideas on what is causing the stumble after pulling the front wheels on launch? This is not my Vette but I would appreciate some diagnosis'. Thanks
could be fuel sloshing up and out the front tube and dumping it in the rear of the carb. take a piece of 3/8 hose and connect it to each tube and make sure you put a hole in the very top of it

I had that issue. A rubber hose from the front to the rear vent tube that is open on top solved that problem!
Thanks for the replies. I was thinking about the fuel uncovering the jets and the float level being low but I didn't know about the hose deal. I'll try that next time out and go from there.
