Default Easy headlight question

I assumed this would be in the AIM, but it doesn't look like it is...

Are the highbeams the inside or outside lamps?
Are they the three prong or the two prong bulbs?

Thanks,
Jim

High beams are the inside bulbs and are two prong. The outside lights have three prong as they have both high and low beam capabilties.

Funny you should ask! I just looked at mine today and on my 69 the inner are the low beams and the outer are the high beams This I know for for sure!

Actually the info is in the AIM, in the wiring diagram, UPC 12, page D1. The additional "high beams" are the two inside lights with two wires/two pins going to them. The outside lamps have three wires and have low beam AND hi beam filaments/lamps inside each.

Thanks WATTAC.
I looked at the assembly part of the AIM.
I didn't think to check the wiring diagram.

WATTAC is correct. It's in the AIM if you look closely at the illustration. Hi inside; low outside.

I just went out and checked my 80, the high beams are the inside lamps, they hav two prongs. The outside lights are the low beams and have three prongs. I confirmed these results with my assembly line manual. good luck lou
