Which Shoulder Belts Are Correct??
Hello,
Can anyone tell me if 1973 corvette Convertable shoulder belts will fit my 1972 corvette Coupe? I have seen some shoulder belts with off set bolt holes and these bolt hole are in the center of the plate? and I am not sure which is the correct type because the car did not have the shoulder belts when i bought it!

Yes they should work. The 72/73 belts sets are the same for both coupe and convertable and remain the same set in the convertable untill 75. Expalining,, any 73 belt should fit in any 72 car, shoulder included.

belts
i found out the hard way [ebay purchase just enough of a picture to catch my interest]the 74 belts do not fit they are a one piece belt instead of 2 they call them dual retracter belts instead of seperate retractor , they actually may fit but are not correct , i am still looking for the sholder belt section but may just give up i refuse to pay 3oo for a set of belts some people say late model camaro belts work , maybe i;ll check them out
