2500 RPM stall converter is a nice compromise between street and strip.Make sure you get a good tranny cooler with it.

You should use a trans cooler no matter how good your radiator is.

Bigray a 700R4 sounds like a good choice for your right foot. It will take alittle more work and money but you can't beat the 1st gear ratio and that nice cruising OD!!!

The answer at least partially depnds on how much you want to spend for a converter. If you plan to buy a $300 converter, stay with an 11" with a stall around 2500. Pretty much anyone can build a converter that doesnt feel too loose in this range. If you are willing to spring for a nicer converter, such as an ATI, you could use a tight 10" model and get somewhere between 3000 & 3500 rpm stall that still doesnt feel like its slipping too much in normal driving.

I have a 10" TCI 3500. I love it off the line and don't notice any slip.

I am trying to get a good alignment before I take it to the track,It definetly does a nice job of blowing cars off the line, ive had it to 140 mph and was a little unstable I had a vibration from the rear left shaft and a bad alignment.I am installing new vbp strut rods and I completly redid the front end.I want to cut the rotors then away I go.I will let you know.
