Bellhousing???
I just got a T5 trans. getting all the necessary components for an auto to manual swap. Im Using the Ram hydaulic throwout bearing assembly so I dont have to worry about finding a bellhousing with the bracket for the slave or fabbing a bracket. Now my question. What manual sbc bellhousing can I use. Are there certain ones that you can use an 11" clutch with? educate me on bellhousings.

Here's your best bet. Priced right ($175?) and stronger than the original "621" bellhousing. Good luck!

I just took a spare flywheel/ring gear to the wreckers and checked it against a number of bellhousing until I found one that fit.
Cost me $50

Whoa chief! Easy. I got your email lots of good stuff. Ive been hangin on the side of a roof on a tiny walk board in the cold all week. Ive crashed the last few nights. I may be able to get my hands on a 4 speed muncie housing. If not Ill just go rake over the bone yards. Im not paying over 100 bucks for a housing..so new is out of the picture. thanks for the replies

Hey bud, PM me your ZIP and I'll check and see if I can find any salvage yards local to you that have that '85 truck bell housing for under $100...hopefully lots under $100.

We arent exactly safety gurus..lol...some old rope and a used harness. 36609 is my zip. I would really appreciate that. I was gonna physically go check some places, but I havent had a chance.

I didn't find anything advertised local to you, but I did find several under $100. I found one for $90 that even has the fork, and it would just need to be shipped. Let me know if you don't find anything locally.
